Have bike, will travel is the message Yamaha are sending out with the new Super Ténéré Raid Edition. Built to go anywhere with lots of kit – even that Nick Sanders chap has one. The Raid Edition expands on the standard model with lots of accessories including a pair of 37l aluminium side cases. For increased weather protection there’s a high screen and wind deflectors as well as fog lamps for adventures after dark. To complete the look, it’s also fitted with carbon side panels and a large side plate that protects both the sump and the engine cases.

As normal, the shaft-drive Super Ténéré is powered by Yamaha’s dependable and torquey 1199cc 2-cylinder engine, coupled with electronically adjustable suspension, unified braking – and superior digital management know-how together with TCS, Cruise Management and D-MODE.

Carbon aspect panels and Raid Version graphics full the look.
