Yamaha TMAX 530SX
In addition to the list of TMAX highlights that are found on the standard version, the sporty TMAX SX is equipped with a number of dedicated features. Its D-MODE lets you select a sportier engine running mode for more thrilling performance – while the dynamic new body comes in a choice of dedicated colours. And its intelligent new My TMAX Connect app gives you control over your scooter’s security. The lightweight frame and advanced suspension give precision handling. And with a Traction Control System, keyless system and increased storage space for 2 jet-type helmets, the TMAX SX combines sports performance with everyday functionality. New TMAX SX: Reset the rules of MAX.
The premium TMAX DX comes with the most luxurious specification you'll find on any TMAX. Whether you’re commuting or having a long fun ride, the electronically adjustable screen lets you select the best height in seconds – while the Cruise Control makes big trips even more enjoyable. And 2-level D-MODE means you can switch to the best engine mode for city or sport riding. The specification includes a Traction Control System, keyless system, bigger storage space and hi-tech TFT instruments. And with its exclusive heated grips and seat, adjustable rear suspension, My TMAX Connect and dedicated colours, the TMAX DX doesn’t just reset the rules of TMAX. It blows them away.
Yamaha unveiled three versions of the TMAX - the TMAX, TMAX SX and TMAX DX, both with extra features. All versions now boasts traction control, a new aluminium chassis and chip-controlled throttle. All versions come with a new ‘sporty and dynamic body design’ and weigh 10kg less than the 2016 version, at 213kg wet. They’ve got a longer swing-arm with link-type suspension, increased storage space for two open-face helmets and a keyless ignition. There’s a new TFT instrument panel, a ‘compact, upswept’ exhaust and ‘lightweight tyres with low rolling resistance,’ Yamaha says. ABS is standard and the model comes ready to connect with Dainese’s D-Air airbag jacket system. The 530cc parallel-twin engine makes 46hp and complies with Euro4 emission limits. The TMAX SX also comes with adjustable power modes and can connect to your smartphone via an app, giving owners access to an integrated GPS bike tracker.4644The top-of-the-range 444444444
TMAX DX has all that plus cruise control, an electric adjustable screen, adjustable rear suspension and heated rider seat and grips. The standard version eatures improved electronics, including traction control, keyless ignition system, full TFT instrumentation and more underseat storage. It also comes ready to connect with Dainese’s D-Air airbag system. A higher spec ‘SX’ version adds riding modes, improved detailing and a new feature ‘My TMAX Connect’ which is an app that connects to the rider’s smart phone and specifically adds security features such as a bike tracker, geofencing and the ability to remotely flash the horn and hazards. Additionally an even more premium version, the DX, adds cruise control, heated grips, heated seat and an electrically adjustable screen. Underneath the sharper styled exterior lies an all-new aluminium chassis that carries the 530cc parallel twin carried over from the previous generation machine, albeit tweaked for Euro4 compliance.
