Yamaha VR 300 Versity
When we developed Versity, we really wanted to achieve a totally new, unique riding feeling! According to the people who tested it, riding Versity is like piloting a "flying carpet": you easily control what's going on around you, you forget the stress, the bad road conditions, the hectic traffic, the normal concerns about riding, and above all, you feel superior to everything. Versity gives you the highest level of confidence inspired by any scooter in the city." Patrice: "Scooters are for intensive usage and riders spend a long time everyday on them. So they should be very tough and comfortable on bad roads too. We decided to do a lot of testing in the rough streets of Roma to get an idea of the ultimate level of comfort and road holding we should be aiming at. It was a hard test down in Italy in the capital city. We noticed how intimidating all these cars around you and the bumpy roads can be. All the experiences that we gained there including test rides with the T-Max 500 proofed an important reference for the development." And there is also a philosophical side to Versity. Our Italian product planner adds with a Latin expressive verbal style: "The highest level of confidence is embedded in the product concept, both from aesthetic and from functional point of view. Aesthetically, the shape transfers confidence. It is protective, tough, safe, modern and tremendously compacted. But the shape in a way conveys self-confidence as well, by the possibility to provoke. It is strikingly, surprisingly and remarkably distinctive from any other scooter."
