Laurent Dutruel of Zen Motorcycles
originally built “Tribute to Hagakure” because he wanted to take it to
Bonneville and compete during Speed Week. Although there is no official record
for a fully rigid bike, Laurent took his motorcycle with the bicycle-inspired
frame and a Buell engine up to 208 kph on the Salt. His minimalist motorcycle
has now followed that achievement with second place laurels in the Freestyle
class at the 2013 AMD World Championships.
Any corrections or more information on these motorcycles will be kindly appreciated.
