The Bimota born "TESI" has continued to develop and evolve.

The project, originally started in 1990, came to life because of the commitment of two young engineers who named the motorcycle "TESI" (which is Italian for "thesis") as the design, which replaces the conventionally used hydraulic fork in the front with an innovative swing arm, was part of their university thesis.

VDM, a company based in Rimini and owned by former Bimota mechanic Rodorigo Ascanio, who has vast styling and technical experience, continued research and development on what is one of the most futuristic motorcycles ever produced.

The technical co-operation and the friendship between Bimota and VDM, rooted within Rodorigo Ascanio's past, led to an agreement for the limited production of the TESI 2D by Vyrus. This project evolved from Bimota and VDM's desire to continue the development of a motorcycle, which is distinctive for the functional and technical aspects of its design, which are unique in the world.

The result of this collaboration is an extremely light motorcycle, characterized by an enormously easy drivability, a revolutionary and exclusive style, and the inclusion of components at the forefront of technology.

Production is limited with the care and commitment to build quality extreme.
