It's that classic tradition of "Gran Turismo" experiencing the open road in the grand European touring style that makes the 2006 California EV Touring such a perfect choice for modern-day adventurers.  From the moment this Italian interpretation of the American cruiser concept carves through the first curve, you'll feel ready for endless journeys or short jaunts, should your next adventure be just around the very next corner.

The lines of the California EV Touring are timeless.  While other bikes may try too hard in order to get a second look, this Italian classic captures attention for its always-elegant stance.   Moto Guzzi's passion for heritage is apparent right from the start, including standard equipment styling cues like the bike's cruiser teardrop-shaped tank, chrome trim and spoke wheels.  But, when it comes to technology, the California EV Touring is all about modern-day requirements. The 90° V-Twin features self-adjusting hydraulic tappets for a unique combination of a quiet but distinctive engine note and incredibly low maintenance. And, a three way catalytic converter with Lambda probe ensures ultra-low emissions.

Whether ridden easy or aggressively, the California EV Touring's engine performs smoothly and predictably.  At low revs, performance is enhanced by a balancer pipe between the two cylinders. Under aggressive riding conditions, an oil jet piston cooling system increases engine thermal efficiency and extends engine life.

In addition to Moto Guzzi's legendary engine, every adventurer needs great equipment to get safely and comfortably to the next destination. From heated grips that keep hands warm even during winter rides to protective foot guards and running boards, the EV Touring has been designed to keep riders comfortable and focused on the road ahead.  Standard Touring equipment also includes color-matched hard side-cases for securely stowing travel gear and goods, which makes the California EV Touring always ready for short- or long-term action.  Can't leave home without staying connected? A 12 Volt power socket lets you charge phones or other can't-live-without-'em gadgets while you're on the go.
